"Tunnel Construction and Intelligent Mining" is a course that focuses on the safety and efficiency management of the entire process of underground coal mine tunnel construction, integrating knowledge from multiple disciplines such as geology, mining, machinery, and automation. The course begins with the fundamentals of coal formation and shaft and tunnel engineering, with intelligent mining and support technology as the core, highlighting the characteristics of underground coal mining excavation. It revolves around the technical requirements for the entire lifecycle of tunnel excavation, based on the analysis of engineering structures such as shafts, tunnels, and cavities, as well as studies on key issues like surrounding rock classification, manifestation of mining pressure, and geological support during excavation. The course explains intelligent equipment excavation processes such as drilling and blasting, TBM, roadheaders, continuous mining machines, and excavation-bolting integrated machines, and covers support technologies and equipment applications such as rock bolts and anchor cables, aiming to achieve safe, green, intelligent, and efficient coal mine excavation.
Through the course, students will master the basic concepts and technical methods of tunnel construction and intelligent mining, learn to analyze the impact of geological conditions on construction, understand and master various rapid excavation and support processes, gain the ability to handle tunnel construction under complex underground geological conditions, and establish the concept of "safety first," providing technical support for the intelligent construction of coal mines.
